Description:
Join us to explore the similarities and differences between Islam and Christianity, including basic beliefs and practices in the context of both belief systems. The class will discuss how Muslims view God, Mary, and Jesus as well as verses from the Qur’an that are equivalent to the Ten Commandments. The focus is on the similarities of both faiths and opportunities in pursuing joint Muslim/Christian projects. Attendance at the introductory class What You Always Wanted to Know about Islam and Muslims is a good background, but not required.
