Discussing Race and Racism (Even When It's Uncomfortable) - In-person ONLY
#: 2017    ID:    Section:
Description:

As a white person, talking about race and racism is hard and can be very uncomfortable. Let's practice discussing race and racism in healthy, productive ways. This group is designed for white people, but all are welcome.

This class is sponsored by HeightsNEXT so there is no cost to the public. Registrants will watch a video in the Community Room (A very spacious space where the 6 foot guidelines and masks requirements are followed) in the Family Center. If the weather cooperates the rest of the class will take place in the Blooming Heights Garden which is located behind the Family Center. Class on Sept 23 will take place at First Lutheran Church as the group will have a practice session with another discussion group for practice.

Register here or call 763-528-4517 with any questions.
