Visit Blooming Heights for a walking tour of our school district’s edible schoolyard garden. Agriculture Specialist, Melissa Trent will share a bit about the history of the garden and how it came to be, while you ogle at the diversity of perennial fruits and annual vegetables she grows for use in her E-12 classes. On the garden tour, you’ll get a chance to enjoy the beauty that Blooming Heights’ many plants have to offer while learning about how we highlight beauty, wonder, and joy for our students through garden lessons. You’ll also get a chance to taste a few of the fruits and vegetables that are ready to harvest and learn more about our Little Free Food Pantry. Lemonade provided. This event is free.
