This class is WEDNESDAYS (typo in Community Connections Catalog) from June 25-August 20 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the CHPS Family Center. The fee of the class covers 9 sessions of the class and all materials.
Have you always admired beautiful quilts and wondered how to make one yourself? Join us for this fun, hands-on class designed especially for beginners! Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you’re looking to refresh your skills, this class will guide you through the basics of quilting in a supportive and creative environment. You’ll learn essential techniques such as fabric cutting, piecing, and stitching, while working on a simple quilt project you’ll be proud to take home. Along the way, we’ll cover helpful tips on tools, patterns, and finishing touches. No prior experience required—just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to create something beautiful!
By the end of the course, you’ll have a completed quilt project and the confidence to continue quilting on your own. Come connect with others, get inspired, and start your quilting journey with us! Supplies will be provided. A few sewing machines are available for use, or feel free to bring your own.
