We’ll explore the art of infusing and preserving fresh flavors using juneberries, lemon balm, sour cherries, and mint—perfect for adding a local twist to your favorite beverages, desserts, or even salad dressings.

In this class CHPS Ag Specialist, Melissa Trent, will teach you how to prepare and store syrups, experiment with flavor combinations, and take home recipes (and a few sweet samples!) that celebrate the unique tastes of the season. These will be fantastic for your teas, lemonades and other fun summer drinks! All materials provided. Come ready to taste, create and enjoy!

This class will take place on Wednesday, August 7th, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in Columbia Heights High School. Enter door #1. Class in CHHS #137.
